Also, ‘Rhythm’ a festival Music and Theater also been organised to provide platform of opportunities where kids from different backgrounds and NGOs participate.

This is a skill development program. The Art & Craft workshops are usu-ally organized near/in slums or in children homes. In these workshops kids are introduced to traditional ways of painting example “VARLI” & “MADHUBAN” forms of art. Also making things from waste.

In this Abhiyan we teach kids:

  • Painting/sketching

  • T-Shirt designing
  • Paper Bags, Paper cash envelops
  • Things made by Quillin

Kids really enjoy all these activities and make the best out of their time. The T-Shirts & Diyas designed by them speak for itself in terms of the creativity within these kids. The key person to impart this talent is Retired Professor from Delhi University Mr. R.K. Bhandari, Parul Sharma, expert in quilling and art and craft.

Performing Arts:

The arts make us feel connected to one another and less isolated. Through the arts we share an emotion and that sharing connects us with each other and we realise we all feel the same emotions. The arts are our last hope. We find our identity and make it easier and more pleasurable to live and they also give us wisdom.
